Can Ride Express handle any size Transportation program?
Ride Express is designed to suit small to medium sized programs with multi-passenger vehicles and/or individual volunteer rides.
Ride Express is scalable for larger programs with sufficient computer and network capacity.
What is the learning curve for Ride Express users?
We recommend a ½ day class for users when Ride Express is installed. Users can then handle daily reservation and dispatch activities immediately. Billing and reporting activities for the first reporting cycle may require a few reminders from system Help.
Is there continuing support provided for Ride Express after installation?
Ride Express annual support contracts cover remote telephone support supplemented by internet connection sessions.
I understand that Ride Express is part of the Seniors Express Home Delivered Meals system. Is Ride Express available separately?
Yes, Ride Express can be used as a stand-alone system by any transportation services provider.
Does Ride Express bill third party providers?
Ride Express creates monthly billing lists for ride charges to each third party provider. Users may customize these billing lists to suit individual provider requirements.
How flexible are standing orders (we often make temporary changes)?
Any change to a standing order ride can be applied to the selected ride or to all rides in the standing order.
Can we add our own data and descriptions to the Ride Express database?
You may add to and modify data list values to suit your needs. For example, users may add as needed to demographic categories, income analyses, rates, fares, cards, shifts, holidays, job types, ride reasons, etc.
